On November 6, 2014, Dr. Scott Stevens, Director of the English Language Institute University of Delaware, gave two presentations on The Changing Nature of the US University Campus and Classroom.  The morning session: How to work with International Students (focus on non-academic settings) was open to all faculty and staff with the following topics: General adjustment issues for international students (focus on undergraduate students); integration of students into campus life; understanding specific cultural differences (focus on Chinese students); approaches and solutions to addressing challenges.

The afternoon session: How to work with International Students (focus on academic settings) was also open to all faculty and staff with the following topics: General adjustment issues for international students (focus on undergraduate students); understanding specific cultural differences (focus on Chinese students); cultural differences in the classroom.
